I treated my cat yesterday for fleas and they all are dead when check his fur like they literally just fall off dead.

However he’s still itching pretty bad. I knew he had fleas so I treated them but I didn’t realize just how BAD. As I was bathing him they were just falling off in the tub and on his bed.. there’s just dead fleas all over the place they died and fell off. He’s a black cat so I literally have to hold him and search his fur.

Is there some kind of itch spray I can put on him? I imagine the left over bites still itch but this poor baby :( the fleas like attacked him.

And my older cat got treated for fleas by our vet so I haven’t seen a flea on him at all. I bathed him too with the flea shampoo just to be safe. We let them go outside for a little bit and they came back in with a flea issue. I think I’ve managed to kill the fleas off but he’s itchy. I’m thinking tomorrow or Tuesday I’m gonna take him in to the vet and tell them all of this.
