Is it embarrassing that I’m 19 and a virgin?

I’m 19 and never even kissed a boy in fact I dont even think I’ve spoke to one unless it has been at work by force. I feel really embarrassed by it since everyone else is doing it and in all movies about teenagers it shows them having sex at like age 15 and high school students doing it all the time seems like it’s normal to be having sex at a young age. Is this embarrassing ?

Don’t be embarrassed at all! I lost my virginity at 26 on my wedding night to my husband! He lost his at 12 so it wasn’t the same way for him but he respected my decision to wait and he thought it was special that he is the only guy that I have ever been with. Don’t be embarrassed about not kissing anyone either! It will happen when it’s supposed to happen. I hate hearing that saying but it’s true!

I was 21 when I lost it and had my first "real" kiss.
I ALWAYS feel the same as you, even if I've already lost it. I always feel like I'm so weird for being so far behind what TV portrayed.
But I always try to think that tv is just that: a PORTRAYAL of what TV producers think will get the biggest audience. So don't worry 🙂
