Friends dad asking me out !

My best friend got married last night, I was part of the brides maids. It was such a beautiful wedding, well put together and turned out great. So I’m the middle of all of this craziness of pictures, I am standing back and trying to help where I can in case they needed the brides maids for pictures. And my friends dad comes up and starts small talk. Then out of no where says did (my friends name) say anything to you after rehearsal last week? Me being utterly confused was all say something about what!? Thinking something was wrong or something happened. When he says oh I was asking about you..... welll me being slow and trying to piece together what is unfolding in front of me, he continues to say would you like to go out some time? I can give you my number.... and bam it hits me like a run away train ... he is asking me out!? He is 30 years older than me!! And even if that wasn’t an issue, he is my best friends dad! Granted I am almost 30 but still. The balls on this guy to throw that out there. I haven’t been able to process how I could not pick up on this and still can’t wrap my head around it! It was so fast, random and weird all in the heat of his daughters wedding!!
