Vbac or scheduled c section??

When I give birth to my daughter it will be 17 months since my c section when I had my son. My doctor is very pro vbac and I would love to actually be able to push her out instead of getting cut open again but I’m scared that the strain of pushing would cause my uterus to open up at the c section sight and they won’t know about it. Any moms go thru this before what did you do? What do you recommend? How did you get over the fear? Any advice can you ladies tell me your stories if you ever been in a similar situation.
