18 weeks no bump no movement ?

Question

I’m 18 weeks with my first. I don’t feel any movement yet and I don’t have a bump. I mean there’s a little bump but I can’t tell if it’s baby or if it’s my own fat bc I gained some weight before I got pregnant. 
Should I be worried? Is this normal?Honestly. I’m going craZy here bc I don’t go to the doctor until next week.

It’s normal. Everyone feels movement at different times based on their sensitivity and baby’s position. Women also show at very different rates, if you google “18 weeks pregnant” images you will see a whole range of belly sizes.

I'm 18 weeks 1 day with my second baby and I haven't felt any movement yet. I can't identify with the not showing part, but maybe this can help ease your mind on not feeling baby. I felt my son at around 16 weeks...but this time around I have an anterior placenta so I think it's cushioning the movements.

With my first I really didn’t show until I was closer to 30 weeks then she popped. I would worry since it’s your first and your body hasn’t been stretched out yet.

Did they tell you anything about your placenta placement? I ended up with an US at 13 weeks because of cramping. I found out then my placenta is in the front (anterior placenta) with that you don’t feel movement as early as others. I’ll be 16 Weeks on Thursday and really don’t have a true bump, my belly fat has just kinda morphed it’s way to the middle and I just say it’s bump.

This sounds normal. On my first I didn’t feel movements till 2o weeks. And didn’t have a bump till around 7 months. Currently 16 weeks pregnant with my second and can see baby moving..and starting to feel little flutters. Every pregnancy is different. Try not to worry and enjoy it.

With my first pregnancy I didn’t feel movement until around 22 weeks and I did not have a anterior placenta. And I’m super skinny so it all depends! I’m 18 weeks now and barely feeling movement and this is my third

I thought this too, so I’ve got ultrasounds twice this week, and baby is perfectly fine and SUPER active, I wouldn’t worry about it Momma💓 I’m 16 weeks & was worried until doctor reassured me it was normal for first time moms !
