I started Femara in January and I remember going on this group to see how successful people had been using Femara. The first 3 cycles came and went with no results, I would ovulate yet no baby. The fourth cycle we moved on to IUI and no luck. I was beginning to loose hope, my dr talked about next steps and moving on to injectibles and we decided to give it two more cycles until we’d tried with Femara for 6 cycles. On my 5th cycle I had one follicle at 23 mm, I had a trigger shot (Ovidrel) and IUI. I got my BFP at 12dpo. I am now 6weeks1day and wanted to share this with you and help you remain hopeful! It will happen! I know how it sucks to get AF each month, how terrible it is to watch others get pregnant, how frustrating it is to move on to stronger treatments and have them fail after being so hopeful that this new treatment would work. Hang in there! I know it sucks when people say “relax, let go and it’ll happen” but I truly believe that cycle was different in that way. I had a trip planned and could’ve missed ovulation (hubby was not coming with me on the trip) and decided to go on the trip anyway, thinking “if it’s meant to be, it will be”. I was tired of having my life revolve around my fertility treatment and decided to not stop living my life because of it. I came back in perfect timing, had my trigger shot next day coming back and IUI two days after. I also wrote a thank you letter to my infertility stating everything I have learned on this journey. This was our 11th cycle TTC, my dr started me on Femara after 6 months of trying since I wasn’t ovulating. I already had my PCOS diagnosis before then, so they didn’t let me reach the one year mark before starting treatment, thankfully.

I am sending you all tons of baby dust and hoping you too get your BFPs very soon! You deserve it! 💕💕💕👶🏻💫✨
