My mom's first husband and her broke up within a year of being married when she was 18. He cheated a lot and I don't know much besides that. I had literally never heard that she had been married besides to my dad until I was 17. When she was divorcing her 3rd husband she joined social media. Her 1st husband reached out, he changed a lot. They talked a bunch. he came up to visit. ended up spending a week. then he moved out of his place into our home. They got married a couple months later and just celebrated 8 years together. He's such a good guy and hard worker. He treats me and my sister like his own kids and my daughter is his grand daughter. :D

I believe anything is possible, but it takes a lot of self reflection, willingness to change, and consistently working on yourself in the time that you are broken up in order to make any difference in things when you get back together. It takes commitment to your own growth first and foremost. This type of growth usually does not happen in a short amount of time, it can take many years to get to this point. So, I think that when a couple breaks up and gets back together quickly, it’s a negative cycle really. Most times it won’t work. But like I said, anything is possible and I am sure that it has worked for people in the past!
