I know this doesn’t have to do with period stuff but I need help... so after I moved into my current place I began hearing bad things about my landlord, stuff like I won’t be getting my security deposit back unless I take him to court, and fun shit like that... so I paid this months rent by check which I delivered to their office on 5/29. Since then it hasn’t been cashed and tbh im worried they are going to try and tell me I didn’t give them a check and fine me or something stupid. I didn’t think I’d have a problem with them taking the money I gave them so I stupidly didn’t ask for a receipt or anything so I have 0 proof that I did pay them if they don’t cash the check... what do I do? I tried calling today and no one answered so I’m just worried.... do you think I’ll be okay or do you think they’ll try and fuck me over?
