What Would You Do?

As a parent (if you are one) it’s your job to take care of and keep your child safe. This question is inspired by a post on Facebook. A woman was at Kings Island (amusement park in Ohio) with her family and was sitting a few chairs down from her child. A man approached her child and said “are you alone?” And then told the boy to come with him. The mother gave him a dirty look (from a few chairs away) and he left, and she reported him (assuming to Kings Island Police).

So let’s say this was your child. What would you do?

A: assume he’s trying to kidnap your child, say no words to him, report him to police

B: ask him what he’s doing (possibly trying to help the child?), while still protecting your child Incase his intentions were bad, report if necessary

C: wait and see how interaction goes before stepping in, report if necessary

D: other/comment
