I got my period on the pill?

I've been on the pill for almost two weeks now, I haven't missed any days at all. But this morning I woke up with my period. And not a light flow either. Also, it's not even my normal time to get my period if I weren't on the pill. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Should I call my doctor?

Answer

On the pill you should continue to get your period. The hormones will probably mess up your system for a bit so getting bit early and stuff should be okay. Unless it lasts a lot longer than it should or hurts more than is normal I wouldn’t be worried.
