Water birth?

Question

Any first time moms thinking about doing a water birth? My hospital offers them and I would LOVE to try, but I've never had a baby before lol.
I hear its a lot easier on your body to water birth, and I'd like to be able to try, if it doesn't work out we can always move to a bed but I'm so interested in water births. It would be so beautiful to have my first baby in the water.

I’m a FTM too and I’ve been researching Hypnobirthing! My hospital doesn’t offer the tub but I will definitely be going as natural as possible. Fuck all of the people that doubt my ability to do it, I’ll show them 😜

FTM also! I chose a birthing suit with a big tub just in case I wanted to do the water birth. I’m not really sure what to expect or what I will want to do in the moment but I figured it can’t hurt to book it just in case? But my best friend had a water birth for her second baby and she said it was a really amazing experience.

I wanted to but my hospital didn’t offer it. But i personally probably wouldn’t have ended up doing it just because you’re sitting in the blood and amniotic fluid for some time after. from what i’ve seen & heard you can’t get right up. but other then that i would love to catch my own baby coming out , sounds like such a beautiful experience

On Facebook, if you go to BIRTHtube you can view birth videos and posts about all kinds of births, including several water birth! 
I’m trying for one with my next baby. Water is proven to help with contractions and back labor, and is a very useful tool!
