Do y’all believe in long distance at a young age ?

Well my boyfriend and i are 20 and he moved away like two or three months ago for work. He lives 5 hours away. We sometimes see each other every two weeks. Of course i miss him like crazy but we make it work

Define young. Are we talking teenager? If so I’d be concerned as to how my teen met someone who lives long distance. 
An adult, of course long distance works.
