how did you feel before going into labor??

just curious on how you felt before going into labor? did you feel energized, tired, etc? did you have a "I know it's today" feeling?? I always thought I was pretty in tune with my body so I wonder if I'll "know"! if you have pets, did they act differently when your labor started?? did you nest?? thank you for your experiences!!

Yes. I am Pretty in tuned with my body. The day before I felt like crap, I then woke up the next day and it felt like I got hit by a bus. My body ached so bad all over. That night I started to get contractions very light. My dog was whining and she never whines.. ever! She knew sometning was up. I went to the hospital and they said I wasn’t dilated enough but if I wanted to stay and walk arojnd fir two hours before being admitted I could but I said I’ll go home and see my dog and come back. I got home at 430am and went back at 8am. I was admitted and had my boy that night at 11:07pm. I nested a few days before hand. But nesting can happen anytime during pregnancy.

I was normal, doing everything I do in a regular day, even ate a whole pizza lol until the night when my contractions started and they were so painful I couldn't sleep, 12 hours later I jad my baby girl.

The morning of my natural labor I threw up very randomly. I was walking out the door to bring my older girls to school and boom, puke all over my driveway. I went home and laid down cause I was tired. Later on that day I had one very strong and painful contraction. Then nothing besides BH contractions. DH and I had sex twice that night, cause I was scheduled to be induced 3 days later and I didn’t want that. I suddenly felt extra “fluid” dribble out and thought my water broke but went to bed cause nothing else came out. 1:30 am I woke up and shot out of bed with a painful contraction. Sure enough my water did break and I was having contractions 2 mins apart. Baby girl was on my chest less than 3 hours later. 
The week leading up to that I was pooping constantly. I always felt like I needed to poop but only a little would come out. Sorry for the tmi. I would also randomly have a series of 10 ish painful contractions and would think that was it every time. But they would stop.

Me too, it was so sudden. Was just ultrasound follow up and I thought we will just discuss how baby is doing but then boom:”you have to deliver today!” I was not scared but nervous. But everything went smooth.

I felt fine. Was out and about all day, had dinner at my in laws, went home and had contractions a couple hours later. I worked up until I gave birth.

I had no idea. No burst of energy, no extra fatigue, no nesting...everything was normal.

with my 2nd, I had a feeling this was the day. I had Back pain and little appetite. with number 3, I went to bed thinking, when will the baby ever come. woke up in the night with Contractions and baby born that day

Ha! My mom took melo for a walk that same morning came back 25 mins later he kept peeing all over, coming in out my room making weird noises. I lost my appetite which never happens I love breakfast!! I felt like I had to do the “2” & I did when I wipe it was pinkish blood I freak out call the hospital. My bag wasn’t ready so I was home for an hour fixing my bag, with slight contractions. I made it to the hospital at 5pm at 6:30 I was 5cm at 9:24 she was out I push for 14 mins. No epidural needed she was 9 days early.

I was in pre labor for 2 days before my water broke. Pre labor meaning I had very strong contractions that lasted 30 seconds to a minute and occurred about every 10 minutes. I had no clue when it was finally gonna happen. My cats didn't act any differently. I'm not exactly sure what nesting is exactly, so I probably didn't do that.
