Help?

I'm 5w3d and have very heavy cramping, should I go to the hospital or wait and see if they go away? My sister said she has cramps a lot during her pregnancy and it was fine ?

I have been cramping since a week before my period was due, I was 100% sure I was getting my period ! But nope.. I'm nearly 6 weeks pregnant. I went for a scan when I thought I was 4 weeks and I was told I'm 5 weeks in fact. the scan was very clear and he was able to tell me everything is ok. he said pains and cramping is ok and normal bevause your uterus and womb is getting ready for the baby :) my last pregnancy where I misscarried 2 months ago I never had any cramps and tbh I'm glad I do now bevause I know my little one is growing :) as long as you've no bleeding then I shouldn't be much concerned. make sure your taking all your essential vitamins ! And drink plenty of water.

It's normal in the first trimester. Unless there is bleeding you don't have to worry!

If it was ME I wouldnt go unless I was bleeding a lot too. Cramping can be normal but I don't know about very heavy cramping? How do you feel? In all reality and I mean this in the nicest possible way, from experience I know there isn't much they can actually do even if you were miscarrying so no point in stressing yourself out more with the doctors/hospital until you need to. Rest up and hopefully that cramping goes away soon :)

I’m 5 weeks and 3 days and I still cramp heavy on and off. I go next week for my ultrasound. I haven’t had any bleeding and my family and some close friends said it’s completely normal..so I feel you! It sure does make you anxious though.

If you aren’t bleeding then no. Cramping is normal
