Has anyone come up to you while you were breastfeeding in public with rude comments?

I’m really wanting to breastfeed and I saw a post about it. 
It was about how people come up and make rude comments to women breastfeeding in public.
Just curious if anyone has actually had this happen to them and if so does it happen often??

Don’t let people threaten you. 
As a breastfeeding mother you are legally protected to breastfeed your baby WHEREVER and WHENEVER you need to, by both state and federal law. 
I’ve been breastfeeding for 18 months, in public, often without a cover (I use the 2 shirt method) I’ve never had anyone come up to me, I have had some looks but I think I give off the “don’t mess with her” look

I’ve gotten a few glances but no comments at all. The closest to rude comments are actually from family members who say things like “aren’t you embarrassed?”  Uh, no. I’m feeding my child, not randomly flashing my boobs, why should I be embarrassed?

honestly never had anyone come up to me and say anything negative. I have had a few people say something positive a couple times.

I wish the women who clicked yes would have commented what happened when they came up to you while breastfeeding!! If you comment yes will you please say why happened but only if you want!!

The only rude comments I had were from “family” Not my family, but my Inlaws. My family is very pro nursing so I whip it out wherever I am lol I try to be discrete, but I don’t use a cover or anything.  Every time we’d visit my inlaws they asked if I was STILL nursing (I breastfed my son for 18 months) They told me I was wasting my time because babies only need breast milk for first 6 month. My father in law told me to just give him cow milk already (yeah, because giving him breast milk from another animal is better than from his mom)  One time my son came and laid on me because he wanted to nurse, and my father in law lightly pushed him away and told him NO! NO MORE BOOB. YOURE TOO OLD. I’ve been asked if I’m not embarrassed and comments like that 🤷‍♀️
