Calling doctor again

Last Tuesday I called the doctor because I haven't had a period in 8 weeks now, no spotting, nothing.. well last Friday I thought what was a faint line but it didn't get darker.. still having a faint line and no period.. I can't wait to figure out what is going on.. anyone similar stories?
