Anybody got photic sneeze reflex?

It’s where you sneeze in bright lights or sunlight. AKA Autosomal Compelling Helio-Ophthalmic Outburst (ACHOO syndrome, how cute!) just wanna know who else has it. It’s kinda rare, 18-35% of the population of the us has it. 67% of them are women. It’s inherited in a really weird way, idk how to explain it, but the weirdest thing is my whole family has it! Both parents and my siblings, and cousins. Yeah just wondering if  there are other ppl affected by the annoying yet cutely names genetic thingamabob.

I sneeze every time when it's bright out! i read that your sneeze and light sensing nerves cross in your brain, and when your light sensor is triggered it also accidentally makes you sneeze

My husband sneezes when he goes from really dark to really bright light. I always thought he was full of it or kinda faked it. But holy crap! 😂😂
