Do you get rid of the hair between your buttcheeks?

I’ve been thinking about getting rid of the hair between my buttcheeks for a while now as I have what I think is too much and I want to be able to confidently wear more types of underwear (like thongs for example) and I was wondering what was your opinion on the matter.
