My husband and I just moved in with his parents, we decided that it would help us pay off some bills and save money for a down pmt on a house, no big deal. Well before we moved in we discussed how long we want to live with his parents. We decided that after our cruise in March next year we will begin TTC and then we would be in a house by the end of next year... well now he’s saying that he wants to have more money in the bank ( I get it) but that it will probably be 5 years before we get into a house and he refuses to rent because it’s a “waste of money” I want kids, he wants kids but I don’t want to wait 5 years for kids... he thinks we should still try even if we are living with his parents.. his parents won’t care, they’re actually asking when we’re going to have kids but I want to be able to have my own space with my baby and I want my baby to have it’s own space... we’re in a small room and if we have a kid it’ll have to go in our room and I didn’t want to do that.... am I overreacting?? Any advice would be appreciated, I talked to my husband about this and he keeps telling me that we never know what will happen and maybe we’ll get lucky and still move out next year but idk, on one hand I want a kid but on the other hand I want to wait until we get a house...
