Every women has 'flaps', it's called a labia and every women's looks different. Have a look at some diagrams or even some photos so you can see how it really looks (don't get your info from porn, that's not realistic)

Errm you should probably like idk maybe look at the makeup and design of a vulva (the vagina is the bit that leads to the cervix...) .... educate yourself with how a woman’s vulva actually is...,.

Um.. How old are you? Those "flaps", as you referred to them, are actually called labia, and every woman has them, and every woman's labia looks different. They are part of your vulva. You are born with them, they are not "caused". Maybe ask your parents about this stuff? Or there are plenty of educational sites on the internet where you can learn about your anatomy "down there".
