Does/did anyone else nurse their babies/toddlers to sleep?

Yes. I did it until he was 15 months and I was still nursing him every two/three hours through the night then as well. I'm a big believer in babies weaning and night-weaning themselves. I think they know best when they are ready. Unfortunately for me, I lost my milk when he was 15 months old, so we had to stop then. It was due to my second pregnancy.

Hell yes I did!!! That is a special gift you get as a breasfeeding mama. I did it until after my daughter was one... then I got pregnant again, my supply tanked and my 10-15 min feedings started taking 30 or 40 min. I started giving her a bottle at nap and bed time and let me tell you, our transition has been amazing. I rock her while she drinks her bottle and when she is done I just lay her in her crib awake and walk out. She just rolls over and falls asleep! It's been amazing :-)

Still nursing my 21 month old to sleep. I am actually hoping she doesn't stop nursing when I get pregnant with #2, nursing makes life so much easier and more calm. I will nurse her as long as she wants.

😊 I nursed my first born to sleep, until she was 3 years old. She loved breastfeeding and would fall asleep. I didn't mind it and it soothe her 😁 Finally when I stopped breastfeeding her at age 3 she would fall asleep normally.
😁 now with my 4 month old I also nurse her to sleep, she is able to fall asleep right away comfortably if I nurse her 😊 she will stay sleeping 😴 for hours and then wake up again to be nursed.

My son is 11.5 months old and I nurse to sleep at bedtime and for naps. On the couple occasions I've been gone at a nap time, his Nana puts him in the stroller after a bottle and he falls asleep before they make it to the next block 😂
There are so many reasons why babies naturally fall asleep at the breast, I couldn't imagine doing it any other way.

My daughter stopped nursing to sleep at around 10 months. I knew I wanted to stop breastfeeding at 12 months so I didn’t want to have that sleep association be an issue and have it be to much of a shock stopping totally. Instead of nursing we switched to a straw cup with water and more books in the rocker.

I did until my daughter weaned at 15months and it’s been amazingly shocking to me how easy she goes down for her naps and bed with out it. She’s 16months now.

I don’t know that there’s a should/shouldn’t.  It’s go is pros (snuggles) and cons (can’t fall asleep on their own). My daughter still nurses to sleep at age one.

I stopped around 12 months. I wanted her to be able to go to sleep in her own. I just gave her milk and cheerios before bed to make sure she was full then sang a song to her and laid her down.  She learned to go to sleep on her own and sleep through the night.

With my son, I think I stopped around 6-8 months, but he also loves his pacifier, so he would take that to bed to soothe to sleep at night. I do still nurse my 12 week old to sleep most of the time...so sometimes wakes a bit when I put her down and she is getting better at settling in, but she is mostly asleep
