Background: I’ve had two unsuccessful IUIs with donor sperm using clomid and trigger shot (husband can’t have biological kids so we are using a donor and as far as we know nothing is wrong with me)

I started my period Friday and had my baseline ultra sound this morning before starting my clomid. But the nurse didn’t go ahead and instruct me to start clomid like she normally does. I heard the them in the hall mention birth control which I believe is used to treat cysts? They said the doctor would review the results of the ultrasound and give me a call with my next instructions but of course my mind is racing right now.

Is this really bad? Or is it just a little hiccup? Wondering what to expect. This fertility stuff absolutely sucks. :(
