His parents ALWAYS are babysitting the kids. Their are 16 grandchildren and about 6 days a week they atleast have 3 children at all times. His moms getting older, she has memory loss and high blood pressure as of late. We NEVER ask for sitters unless we are in real need. A few weeks ago we went out and she kept our son overnight. The next day she had 5 more kids!( I had no idea!!!) Now since they are cousins they play well together but they are all in between 2-8years Old. Anywayyyyy, fast forward to today. We had asked his parents over for dinner because I wanted to thank her for babysitting. She said that tonight was the only free night they have without kids. So perfect. This morning I walk to the grocery store with my son. I ended up having to carry things on my back and stroller was stuffed. We get back and he went for a nap. I then prep all the dinner for later. I also cleaned up the house, did dishes etc. I then get a call from SOs mother that they now have to babysit FIVE kids now and they would have to join us for dinner. I was a little annoyed cuz honestly I did not buy enough food. I also did not plan on having kids running all over my house. So then my fiancé calls me saying he has news. I go “ I already know about the kids, ohwell”. He says no, that all his siblings/ spouses are going to a concert tonight and they have an extra ticket for him to go. So by now I’m fumingggg. Literally steam out of my ears. First off, super rude of his family. Never letting the grandparents have a night to themselves. Secondly, super rude they didn’t even try to invite us to the concert a long time ago??? And third, that my fiancé would just call and try to go tonight without me and ruining dinner plans. He’s done this SEVERAL-times to me. End rant.
