Went to Walmart about an hour ago to get the items off my WIC card. I got everything that I am allowed, like I do everything month. The cashier started ringing up my items and I swiped my card, went through the whole wic transaction process. The cashier told me my total was +$18. The only thing in my cart to pay with cash was a pack of wipes, they cost $1.72 out the door. Knowing I only needed so much money that's all I took to the store, I didn't plan to get anything else. And because of this an older gentleman in line behind me paid for my remaining balance.

Also I had taken a friend to the store with me as well. She also had the same. issue. This is a routine for us so we know what items to get and what not to get.

I am thankful and livid at the same time. The older gentleman didn't give me a time to react, he just pulled out money. I'm not a very emotional person, but I cried the entire want home. He just told me to keep doing a good job of taking care if my baby.
