I went to my 36 weeks appointment this morning and was aware that I would be having my GBS testing done. As the nurse came in I was just about the excuse myself to freshen up before the swab when she gave me the cotton bud and explained how I was to insert, wave it around and wipe across the ‘back’.

I just stood there like 🤔 is she asking me to test myself?

Never came across a place that didn’t do their own tests before. So strange!!!
