Abdominal vs Vaginal ultrasound?

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if there are pros/cons to either? 
I’m going in for my first ultrasound (7w 4d), which I believe will be transvaginal.

I think the vaginal ones area way clearer early on!

My office does transvaginal for the early one because it’s a clearer view.
