Anyone else starting freezer meal prep?

Finally starting my freezer meal prep for after little one is born. A few weeks of meals I can pop in crock pot or in oven and that's  it. Anyone else doing this? Any good website  recommendations?

Only reason I’m not is because I live with my mom and she cooks 😬 Filipinos never let you go hungry 😂

Yep, my mom and I did some at 35 ish weeks. Meatloaf, lasagna, meatballs, beef stew, stuffed peppers, etc. I’m hoping nothing gets freezer burnt before we can use it.

I haven’t yet bc hubby is working from home the first month when baby gets here and he does all the cooking anyway. Once he starts traveling again in August he is going to make some for me 👍🏻

I’ve been doing a meal or two a week starting a couple weeks ago (I’m 36w3d today) including breakfast stuff for my hubs and son. I made and froze a homemade soup, shepherds pie, lasagna and homemade waffles. I bought stuff yesterday to make either choc chip muffins or bread (which will probably freeze better), stuff to make a chicken pot pie and and stir fry stuff to make and freeze this week! My mom said she’d make me a meal or two and freeze them and knowing my sister she’ll bring us a fresh one the week we come home. I did it with baby number one and honestly it was nice but I really didn’t need it bc I was so fortunate to have an easy delivery and recovery. This time with a husband who works a lot more hours so I can stay home like i do now and a 20mo old I know it will be SO amazing to have prepared while we transition to a new family of 4! I would say an easy focus would be on crockpot meal prep and pies and casseroles, they tend to freeze well! Check out Pinterest too!!

I made spinach lasagna and put it into 3 loaf pans. 1 for this week and 2 for freezer. Also made a meatloaf. Half was frozen and half for this week. I have a bunch of frozen chicken so plan to make a chicken casserole to freeze as well. Using disposable tin pans means less dishes later. I love my crockpot but that still requires cleaning
