did you go to your doctor to confirm? schedule an appointment at 8 weeks? what’s the next step?!

I don’t go in to confirm. I just call and set up my 8 week appointment.

I called my Dr, they sent a request to the lab for blood work to confirm.
next day they called me with my results and booked my first prenatal appt for 9 weeks.

Hello. You don’t have to schedule an appointment to confirm with your Dr as they say that if your home tests clearly show positive then that’s as reliable as a any test a doctor can do at that stage so you just need to ask to go on the system as pregnant so your scans and midwife appointments can be booked in in due course. There may be a slightly different procedure if you’re based in the US. Congratulations! x

Yes, speak with you doctor they will then schedule you for your first scan and then meeting with midwife (thats how it is in UK)
