I had one and never saw it coming. It sucked but it would’ve sucked exactly the same if I’d been worrying about it. Stay positive until you have a reason not to be and you’ll get through it either way.

This happened to me in my first pregnancy and I never had any reason to believe something was wrong. I have wonderful memories of that baby. I carried it for almost 10 weeks before we found out that the heart wasn’t beating any longer (we originally saw it at 6 weeks). I don’t regret anything with that pregnancy and I’m thankful that I was joyous in it so in my new pregnancy, I’m choosing joy again! It’s a miracle to have life at all and it won’t make anything easier to refuse to feel joy about your baby. It is also a really small percent! My doctor told me it was a 1% chance what happened to us, but I guess our number was up.

We had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks, but I don't regret enjoying it while it lasted.  I wouldn't have missed the baby any less had I worried until then 🤷.  We already had a healthy 15 month old and my Dr. said not to worry.  Likely something unpreventable didn't develop correctly.  😭. We're expecting again and I can't help but be excited (albeit cautiously optimistic).
