Think I should go to the doc?

Kaitlynn

I got my paragard about 1.5 years ago and I knew that worse cramps and heavier bleeding came with it. (It's great otherwise! Don't take this as a "I hate my IUD post bc I love it lol) But it just seems a little /overly/ painful.

Beforehand, even when I wasn't on birth control, my periods were light and cramps were just a light back aggravation.

I'm at the point now where I can bleed through a super tampon in 3 hours and my cramps actually hurt so bad they knock the breath out of me and if I'm at work and can't be anywhere but on my feet, I'm in the floor.

It's especially my right ovary that gives me sharp pains, every period.

The only reason why I'm asking now is because I had an extremely irregular period that lasted 11 days. I bled the first day, didn't bleed the second, cramped worse than ever and expelled clots, then had a regular period (7ish days) stopped bleeding again, then the next day (yesterday) started cramping again but not as bad. And today I was so bloated until I took midol that I could fit my heating pad rolled up under my stomach and it held it there.

Doc visit worthy?
