Help!!!! Has anyone use BC to stop period?

My doc prescribed me a birth control and my period the 29th same day leaving for vaca..do i start taking the pills now or a day before period comes??? I need answers!!!!!

Answer

You generally start pills the first Sunday after picking them up, regardless of your period. Your period probably won't change much in the first couple weeks anyway.
