Silly question but When is my period due ?

I normally have a 28 day cycle, give or take. It is now Cycle day 26but I’m confused because I ovulated last week last Wednesday on Cycle day 20. So does that mean my period will come later ? Do periods come 14 days after Ovulation or 14days after you get off your period ? Thanks 💛

Typically, women ovulate 14 days before their next period (give or take a day or 2 max). I had irregular periods after stopping birth control, but I had obvious ovulation symptoms, and used opks to confirm, so regardless of my cycle length, I knew exactly when my period was due.

You can ovulate at anytime in your cycle and just because you ovulate late or early does not mean your cycle will last longer and give a late period.

If periods came 14 days after you get off your period then you would have a short cycle.... 
average ovulation is 10-16days after a period and 12-14 before the next period
