My son is 6 months and 1 day and today he had his doctors appointment. His doctor told me he should be able to sit up by now and roll over everywhere and crawl.. He sits ups but doesn't last very long.. maybe a couple seconds and then usually falls to the side or to the front. He doesn't crawl yet although he lifts his little butt as if he wants to but he's not quite there yet.. She basically told me that he was so behind and he needs to do those things asap.. I feel so crappy as a mother and I honestly thought I was doing a good job. I thought all babies were different and they all learn at they're own time... but now I just feel completely horrible.
