Bleach bath for infant?

My 4 months old baby had eczema flare ups. We consulted a pediatric dermatologist who suggested bathing baby in bleach 6% 3x a week. Anyone who had given bleach bath to their baby? Did it helped with the eczema? Also they wanted us to bathe baby daily. We stopped bathing her daily for weeks coz when we bathe her often it triggers her rashes. How did you manage your baby’s eczema? What worked for you? If you used bleach what brand did you use?

Sorry what. Bleach? If her eczema is triggered by bathing, why would you bathe her every day? What? I know we can’t tell you to go against doctor advice but Jfc. 
Here’s what worked for me. Coconut oil. Multiple times a day. And staying in a cool environment. Keeping it clean multiple times a day but then patting dry after getting it wet. Keeping sweat off of it or drying it quickly if you cant avoid it. Good luck. I hope you find something that works for you.

My new born (she’s three months old now) has extremely bad flare ups. I went to target and got Aveeno baby eczema oatmeal bath treatment. And I also got the lotion and I only bath her with Aquaphor baby shampoo and body wash. This is the only thing that has ever helped her. Also if you are breastfeeding I pumped and dumped it on her and let it sit for about 10 mins. That worked really really well too! I hope this works. 
Also on a side note.... Idk how bleach will work as a treatment. Doesn’t really make sense to me!

While I have never used bleach for treatment of my eczema, I have used aquaphor and extremely rarely topical steroid cream. For my children, I use aquaphor, aveeno body soap, and decrease bath time (along with mild temperatures).i would be nervous about putting my babies around bleach anything

I would think bleach may aggravate the issue more? It is very harsh and I wouldn’t be putting it on a baby’s skin. I have family members with this issue and they have found some natural products that help (I am probably in a different country to you but do look around for local natural type products that you could try).

Our dermatologist sent us the aveeno route. Bath oil, body wash and lotion for adults. also steroid cream for patches that crop up. when it was really bad he was the white parrifin/aqueuos lotion. treatment depends on the reason for the eczema though, my son's was due to very dry skin as apparently he grew too fast for his skin to keep up - he was a preemie.

First of all....you're not alone momma. My son is almost 3. We have been struggling with this since he was 6 months old. He has had it the worst on his cheeks. He is finally starting to out grow it. But I say just go with your gut. If you think bathing every day is worse then go a few days without. I also recently found this "bend soap company" look it up on google or facebook.  We use the unscented and oatmeal goats milk soap. And it has helped so much. We have tried probably every steriod cream/ointment and over the counter creams available. Right now I just bathe him in the goats milk soap and I apply aquaphor on him all the time. Especially before he eats. As for the bleach baths. We tried that one time and his bottom was torn up after. The doctor said that the bleach had nothing to do with that but I haven't tried it since. But the doctor also said that I could just put it in a bucket and soak a cloth with it and dab it on his spots. So you could always try that. It is supposed to really help and kill the bacteria. I hope this helps!

does your baby drink formula? if so, try a different one. for some reason, some formulas give some babies eczema?? when we switched my nephew, his disappeared completely, it was like he never even had it
