I was prescribed a Jaydess coil in early April, since I have been bleeding (more than spotting) and was prescribed something to reduce the bleeding for 5 days but it continued after the prescription finished. Blood was always brown.

After this , bleeding was less and eventually stopped for about 4 days. During 2 days of no blood i experienced cramps, similar to a period. Now I am heavily bleeding (red blood sorry for TMI) could this be a period ?

Has anyone else experienced constant bleeding with the Jaydess coil? I may switch to the Mirena but the Jaydess is said to most likely stop bleeding in 2-3 months (maximum 6)

Im going crazy! I have holidays booked etc so would like somebody to give some advice or their experience with the Jaydess coil IUD please!
