My wife is doing way too much since having an unplanned C-section 3 days ago. Her stomach and intestines were not working after surgery and she couldn’t even digest water. 24hrs later since they began to work slowly, we are home but she is bending over to unpack, cleaning, transplanting flowers, ect. After 72hrs removed from the surgery and less than 24 hrs after getting the okay to eat I do not know how to get the point across that she needs to rest and breast feed. I am concerned she is overdoing it as at the hospital they let us go on 2 walks, otherwise she had to rest. I understand she is stir crazy but I feel helpless in getting the point across, I have been cleaning and doing everything I can but the moment I look away she is off. Any advice or experience to help us.
