Yes mainly because I'm already in cheer and it's really fun but it's also really hard my coach pushes us really hard and it feels like after every practice I'm so sore. Also it is a sport. I do competitive cheer so it's different if you were cheering on a football team. And so many people think cheer isn't a sport but they don't know what it's like to be a cheerleader so how would they know. Also if you do join the be prepared for constant commitment.

it’s not just about being the peppiest girl out there. it’s about being a leader and advocate for your school and showing the best example your school has to offer, as a captain i have to lead my team and keep them on track and happy, even if we’re losing the game. make sure you have those leading qualities and you’re not afraid to take charge and teach.

Nah, but that’s just me. Go with your highest excitement. I got more out of joining music, art, and theater classes in the long run even though I tried out for cheerleading. It just wasn’t my thing.

I say no because I’m on the dance team. And we have to work ten times harder then them as they put in not effort what so ever. I’m a little bias I say go for it if you feel like it but if there’s a dance option choose that. My opinion could be wrong in different areas it’s just my personal experience.
