what is this keto diet? I'm hearing it works but what is it exactly. 
is it better than vegan? I made the decision to go vegan so trying to see whats what

Absolutely not. In my opinion Keto is a quick fit like protein shake replacement meals. It works for a little while then you go back to eating normally and gain most of the weight back. But most importantly, you cut out animal products for a reason right, whether it be for moral reasons or health reasons. It is not good for you. Keto diet is meat, cheese and veggies. With emphasis on the animal products. Animal products are EXTREMELY caloric so it just doesn’t make sense to me. If you’re already consuming a vegan based diet #1 stick with it. When I went vegan i was heavy when I started and it still took my body 3 months to reset and basically release fat so just give your body time to get used to it. #2 do your best to lower your intake of pastas (replaced with zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash & miracle noodles) , potatoes ( replace with cauliflower and sweet potatoes ) and breads ( make lettuce wraps, taco shells with lettuce, veggie burger wraps etc. )
