So I started on Microgestin on June 5th and per my pediatrician’s instructions June 5th and 6th I doubled up. I had started my period on June 1st. The last 2 days I have had really dark brown thick discharge. I have been sexually active with my boyfriend since March and we don’t use protection (yes we are both extremely aware it’s stupid but neither of our parents know and we are going to start because neither of us wants a kid this early.) he has always pulled out successfully. Is this spotting normal for birth control? I took my last pill in the week 2 slot this morning. I also just traveled to another state for a summer camp. I’m going to be swimming every night at camp and I’m a very anxious worrying person so I’m not sure if I’m overthinking this or I should be concerned. This is the very first time I’ve taken birth control. I’m 17 years old. Thank you guys for any help. I’m staying with my Grandma and don’t really want to ask her any questions and I can’t tell my mom I’ve had sex. Have not had sex since starting my period June 1st Incase it matters.
