help out a UK pcos sufferer

so I live in England and almost everything I know about my condition has been learnt through books, other pcos ladies and the internet. when i was diagnosed they did a scan on my belly for cysts on my overys and a blood test, my testosterone was high (duh I have facial hair!) And there were clear cysts on my ovaries. I was told yep you have it and no there is no treat ment. I asked what it meant and they basically told me it meant I had a name to put all my symptoms under one umbrella so I could better understand it and I might struggle to have babies. I was told the only thing that would help those symptoms was weight loss the nurse then laughed at the irony of difficulty losing weight being a symptom and i was sent home with nothing more. Is there anything at all that anyone has found helpful to them in keeping your moods balanced because right now that's my biggest weight loss difficulty some days I wake up super motivated and some days I wake up already exhausted and depressed.
