Could you have done this for your sister? (read below before voting)
So, yesterday I went to the funeral of a elderly Mother in my church. She had one biological son who she conceived later in life, but she wanted a baby years before that and I guess there were fertility issues. So, the woman's sister (they were close) sent the youngest of her (the sister's) 7 children to live the woman and her husband. The child lived with her aunt and uncle from the age 3 or 5 until the start of high school. The "daughter" was still close with her parents and siblings because her "mom"/aunt stayed 30 minutes away in a nearby city and the daughter visited her family weekly. The daighter has always referred to her aunt "mom". Also, the daughter got anything she needed and wanted from her mom/aunt. My question is, could you have willingly let one of your siblings essentially raise one of your kids because the sibling wanted kids and had fertility issues?
