Little girl gets jumped on the school bus

I was watching a video on YouTube of a mother yelling at a bus driver to open the bus so she could get her daughter who was being jumped by 2 other students the video is 10 mins long the fight happened at the back of the bus and the bus driver was doing nothing about it but calling dispatch not separating the two girls beating up one girl

You can hear her mother screaming at her daughter to fight back since she already had a busted lip because there was nothing she could do since the bus driver would not open the door for her

Police finally get there and story ends there

In this type of situation what do you think should of been done

Should the bus driver open for the door so the mother could help her child

Or did the bus driver do the right thing by leaving it closed and just calling for help

Without helping at all
