She’s here safe and sound!

My Evangeline was delivered 3 weeks early via c-section on 6-7-18 by my sister (she is my OBGYN). She was delivered early due to growth restriction; she was in the 10th percentile at 37 weeks and it was determined that she was safer out in the world than remaining in my womb.

Turns out I had a velamentous cord insertion which was the reason she wasn’t gaining weight like she should and could’ve resulted in a stillbirth had we been allowed to go into labor naturally. My sister is my hero.
