How many diapers to get started?

Okay mamas - had my shower yesterday! I have a ton of size 1 diapers but since it’s twins I think I’m good. I’ll open the smaller packages first and then I have big boxes with receipts so if I need to exchange I can. I only have two small boxes of newborns. How many newborn diapers did you go through in a week or month? I got a package of preemies just in case too but kept the receipt.

My twins were around 6lbs at we used NB size for two months. 
For clothes (Carters size) we used NB for 9-10 weeks.
I think I used around 16 diapers a day (counting both babies!).
I had some stock of huggies and I hated them, since they were born they use pampers baby dry.

In the beginning they potty every time they eat, at a minimum, which is every three hours. They say to estimate 10 diapers a day for the first few weeks, so with twins you’ll be going through a TON of newborn(and/or preemie) diapers. I bought three packs of 128 newborn diapers to begin with, but amazon can deliver quickly and most grocery stores carry diapers 😃. I’m not sure how our garbage service is going to keep up with twin diapers!

Girl we were in preemie for about three maybe two months. Then newborns for probably the same amount of time. It all honestly depends on how much they weigh when they are born.
