POLL TIME: is it possible to get pregnant by missing first two weeks of birth control? What are the chances?
I didn’t post this to be judged, so if you have something negative to say, just save your breath.
So, I recently missed three days of birth control from the first week (active pills) and I know that if you do, you’re supposed to throw out the packet and basically start all over again on the day you usually start on (Sunday for me)
Since then, I have completely forgotten to call my doctor to refill a new prescription (work, school, etc..) I know those aren’t excuses, but yeah.
My SO and I have had unprotected sex and although he has pulled out, there have been times where he hasn’t—and the pull out method itself isn’t 100%. I think I should be fine, I don’t know, my period isn’t for another 6 days and my last period was on the 29th and I just need some help ladies!
I guess I just want to know if anyone has had something like this similar happen and if a pregnancy resulted from it?? We’re honestly not ready for it and are aware that it could very well be a possibility, but know that if it does happen it’s a responsibility we are going to take on.
Again, I realize that this is primarily my fault due to my lack of keeping up with taking them and not using backup methods. I don’t need a lecture on it, believe me I’ve heard plenty from others—and myself.
Thanks in advance!
