When did your S.O. tell you he loved you, in terms of time being in the relationship? Any cute stories? 😍

So me and my boyfriend have been dating “officially” for 4 months but have been together for 7 in total. He’s only had one girlfriend before me and they only lasted for a month or two, and all they did was kiss. I’ve had two boyfriends before and had sex w both of them. He knows all about my past thought and it didn’t bother him. I knew I loved him after about 3 months, he’s the best thing to ever happen to me. But he wouldn’t tell me for the longest time. I’d ask him sometimes “will you ever love me??” But he’s never said it to anyone before, and he told me that to him, love is something for one special person in a lifetime and when he tells me, that means he knows he wants to marry me (or at least try to get to that point, ya feel) and he eventually did tell me after about 3 months of dating. It was worth the wait. I could definitely see myself marrying him and I plan on trying

Well me and my bf have been dating for what seems like forever. We met in high school but at the we met I was in a relationship with a guy who was trying to use me for my military benefits. When me and my bf finally got together it was heaven. He understands the struggles of being a service member and how important it is to us. I’m in the army and hes a marine and I shipped out to basic training before he did. So through out basic he was writing me letter and how excited he was to go to my bootcamp graduation. Well when the graduation came up I was so excited to see him I ran into his arms knocking us both on our asses. After I stopped crying he had given me this box and it was a ring he had made that said ‘marine girlfriend’. Once I put it on he told me he’s loved me since he first saw me and how he’s glad the wait was finally over. Now we are in engaged and a day never goes by when he doesn’t tell me he loves me.

My boyfriend and I have a bit of a complicated history due to his ex being manipulative, possessive, and emotionally abusive. We first met over 2 years ago and knew we had a connection since then, but because of circumstances we were only ‘together’ for a month before things fell apart and had been on-and-off good terms ever since.
Well, December 23rd of last year, he reached out after months of zero contact to say we never finished what we started and that he couldnt stop thinking about me for months. He had also cut out his ex entirely the previous spring. We now consider that date our ‘anniversary.’
On the evening of March 9th of this year, he had a small party-type thing at his place while his parents were away to kick off spring break. I drank more than I ever had that night, but I was having an absolute blast and managed to not get sick or anything too crazy. The house had cleared out except for 2 of his close friends by about 1 AM, at which point I went upstairs to crash because I was rather drunk lol. I fell asleep in his bed with the lights on, waiting for him to come up. At about 230 in the morning, he came upstairs and woke me to take my meds and get settled into bed with him. As soon as I woke up and sat up, he kissed me passionately, looked me right in the eyes, and just said it: ‘I love you.’ Then he dove back in for another kiss before I could even react. When he pulled away that time I asked if I heard what I thought I heard and he said yes, to which I told him I loved him too! 
I had been waiting for him to say it first because of the complicated end of his last relationship, so I was just stunned when he blurted it out like that. I had known I loved him for at least a month by then, though I was pretty sure Id loved him since we first connected 2 years earlier. 
I cried the next morning because I was so overwhelmed and in shock and just so damn happy. Since he said ‘I love you’ that night, after 2 and a half months of steady dating, we’ve said it everyday, multiple times a day, and meant it every time. Almost six months strong with my first, and hopefully last, love ☺️💕

My boyfriend and I were watching The Holiday together. We were alone in his apartment that night, bundled up under some blankets and sitting wayyy too close to the television. I was laughing at something stupid and at one point it seemed like he was watching me more than the movie. It made me anxious.
“You’re so lovely,” I heard him say under his breath. “So lovely... I love you.”
I was so surprised my dumbass could only say “Thank you.” 😂 We’d only been dating for two months. Now we’re coming up on our third year anniversary. ✨
