Pad Problems

I have been having the weirdest problem with pads and I cannot figure out what the deal is. I'm 20, I've had my period for 10 years, so not a newbie to this all and it's never happened before. I wear ultra thin heavy or overnight pads, and the blood keeps running right off the edge where the wing is and soaking my jeans. I have tried 3 brands so it isnt a brand issue. I cannot figure out how the pad is maneuvering to where the flow is hitting the edge and wing and leaking.
