Any ultrasound techs out there??

This is my 12w4d scan. The tech said it is too early to tell gender, but doesn’t this look like a boy??! Or is this the umbilical cord? Thanks :)

The baby’s genitals are growing and changing until 15 weeks so if that’s what we are looking at it could change or we could just be looking at the umbilical cord

Baby boy and girl parts start out looking the same until you’re father along. You very well could be looking at a little girl. You’ll need to wait until you’re closer to 20 weeks to know for sure

Too early to tell. You have a 50/50 chance at this point. I dont think the nub theory is reliable but for examples sake, all babies have nubs at this point

I believe they can all look like boys that early.. I definitely looks like a boy but would wait until to paint the nursery bule lol
