Ex boyfriend trying things again!

Hey everyone, so my ex boyfriend decided to get in contact with me again after I left him about a year and some months ago. He ask me to try things again to see where thing will end up. In the vacation that he had he talked try to talk to someone and got feelings for her but she didn’t have no feelings towards him he said they only had sex a few times but that’s about it. He decided not to talk to her or anything because he don’t want to have feelings for her again. So I’m here trying to figure it out if I should try things again with him. He said he has feelings for me but it’s just different🤔. His mom doesn’t like me neither my mom likes him. He was my first boyfriend and I still love him but U don’t know what should I do. I told him I would not have wax with him until he does an STD test because I don’t know if the previous person is sick or not. He say he would do it for me. But sadly I fell and had sex with him after... I told him it would not happen again until I see things moving the right way.
