Inductions - yes or no?

Question

Is anyone on here choosing not to be induced if they go over? 
I have heard some horror stories which stem from inductions and would like to stay as natural with my body as possible. 
Thoughts ladies?

Not all inductions are smooth and straight forward, but they're not all hurrendous either. Same with starting naturally. They all have negatives about them depending on the person/baby aswell. I've heard complete shit shows of stories of inductions being hurrendous etc but when I was induced with my first it started quickly and went fast for a FTM (9 hours)... The ONLY complication I had was that my placenta was breaking apart but obviously they didn't know because I never had any late scans etc, and it ended up breaking apart when I pushed my baby out. But that wasn't through any fault of theirs or mine, it would've happened anyway. I'm due to be induced in 2 days again so I'm hoping that goes just as fast as my first (without the placenta situation) - The truth is, whether you're induced or go naturally yourself, you can't change what's inevitable. Plus at the end of it - It's all worth it.

There are negatives on both sides, it can also be dangerous going for too long. Plus you never really know till your in that position and having to make that decision

Literally just take it day by day and go with the flow at the time. 
With my first I wanted a midwifery led water birth and absolutely nothing went right for me throughout my entire labour and delivery. I had pre eclampsia so had to be induced, baby’s heart rate disappeared so emergency buzzer was pressed and about 20 people came in. Had to have my waters broken couldn’t get up off the bed. IV meds for ridiculously high BP weren’t working, forced to have epidural to reduce pain and stress and therefor reduce BP. The epidural line snapped eventually leading to wearing off by the time it came to push. I had to be cut and ventouse used to bring my daughter out. After I couldn’t deliver the placenta so I had to be rushed to theatre to have it manually removed resulting in another spinal because of he epidural wearing off. 
It was a hell of a ride and not what I’d planned on or thought would happen.
Everyone’s experience is different and you actually never know how yours will go until you experience it. 
My best advice is don’t get your hopes up and just wing it. Take it as it comes

I was induced but nothing worked and couldn’t eat past 6cm dilated with my first. Ended up needing an emergency c section for preeclampsia so a bit more complicated than your average birth.
But I’ve decided with this pregnancy any mention of the word induction and it’s coming out the sunroof again! Haha.

You would need to get induced around 41 weeks otherwise it’s unsafe.
